I recently facilitated a session where the mother was having difficulty in her role as a mom. It created a lot of angst in her because she adored her children and yet worried so much about being a good mom. She felt she wasn’t able to enjoy her children.
Her past lives opened up. A similar scenario repeated itself. She was brought to a strange land as a wife and was not happy. She wanted to return home but then the babies started coming. She was then stuck in a strange land because of her inability to leave her children. The past angst was bleeding through to this life.
I am wondering if a lot of the postpartum depression that happens is because new motherhood triggers trauma from past lives when it was much more difficult to care for children.
The Mother felt more spacious and free after her session.
