Many of us get stuck in our story. It becomes a void that we can’t pull ourselves out of. It starts out as little thoughts in our mind, then we speak them out loud and then we start to live them. Maybe we live them for many years, maybe lifetimes. We tell other people this is who we are. We train them how to diminish us. We get so caught up in the story that we are totally enthralled in it. It becomes a fixation.
When we tell the story, we wait for that little pat of recognition for enduring. We crave the sympathy and satisfaction that comes in the telling. But when we lead with the story, it is all others may see. We are goading others into feeling compassion for us. But it is a small pay off for the price to stay stuck in the story.
Everyone has a marvelous adventure in the school of life. We have all played both the hero and the villain. It is how we identify with the plight of others. It is being schooled in compassion. We are all dynamic and very capable souls. To see otherwise is an incredible insult to the resiliency of each soul; even those who overlook their gifts.
The void that the story creates can be dissipated very easily. It doesn’t diminish the journey but enlivens it. It shifts us into our greater self. Making a shift can be as easy as slipping into a glove or a lit room.
I invite you to release your story. May this be the very last time you define yourself with those parameters. I celebrate you leaving your story behind. Deflate it once and for all and choose never to tell it again; to yourself or others. (Say each statement three times while tapping on your head and say it a fourth time while tapping on your chest.)
I release being vested in “the story”, in all lifetimes.
I release casting myself as a victim in my story, in all lifetimes.
I release diminishing myself, in all lifetimes.
I release feeding the story, in all lifetimes.
I recant all vows and agreements between myself and “the Story,” in all lifetimes.
I release cursing myself with “the story”, in all lifetimes.
I dissolve all karmic ties between myself and “the story”, in all lifetimes.
I remove all the pain, burden and limitations that the story has put on me, in all lifetimes.
I take back all the Joy, Love, Abundance, Freedom, Health, Success, Security, Companionship, Peace, Life and Wholeness that the story has taken from me, in all lifetimes.
I release resonating with “the story”, in all lifetimes.
I shift my paradigm from “the story” to Joy, Love, Abundance, Freedom, Health, Success, Security, Companionship, Peace, Life and Wholeness, in all lifetimes.
