The Shift in Food’s Requirements

Food in other eras had a different purpose than foods in the present. In past eras, food wasn’t so plentiful. So the purpose was to make combinations that would be very fulfilling and stick to the ribs and stay with the body as long as possible. It had to be hearty and supply sustenance for a very long time. Heavy meals were a survival tool for hard-working laborers, which we all were at some point.

The trick is to get our bodies to realize, that they don’t need to feel that heavy bloated feeling to be safe, that hunger pangs aren’t a matter of life and death as they once were, and that there will always be enough. Once the body releases its primal fear of starving to death, it can enjoy the lightness of small meals.

Here are some taps to assist:
(Say each statement three times while tapping on your head and say it a fourth time while tapping on your chest.)

I release the fear of being hungry, in all lifetimes.
I release confusing hunger for death, in all lifetimes.
I release going into survival mode when I am hungry, in all lifetimes.
I release defining a huge meal as security, in all lifetimes.
I release defining a huge meal as love, in all lifetimes.
I release confusing sugar for love, in all lifetimes.
I release confusing fatty foods with security, in all lifetimes.
I release the fear of not having enough, in all lifetimes.
I release perceiving mealtime as a competition, in all lifetimes.
I release all the pain and trauma of dying of starvation from my mealtime ritual, in all lifetimes.
I release confusing dieting with despair, in all lifetimes.
I release confusing dieting with suicide, in all lifetimes.

Did you know there is a mechanism in the body that will prevent you from harming yourself? It isn’t so easy to kill one’s self without the body going on autopilot to prevent it. Well that same mechanism of protection is the one that sabotages us when we control our intake of food. It perceives it as a form of suicide and prevents one from continuing. That is why these underlying issues need to be addressed so that the body can realize on a primal level, that you have its best interest at heart.
