This is an article which one of my clients, Natalie Grigson, wrote about me. It appeared on the website BeyondChron. I really hope you like it! If you know anyone who has been considering a session, this might be a good one to send to them.
To an outsider, I imagine that the past year or so of my life might look rather like what would happen if an adventure book met up with a spirituality book in the self-help section, and then they decided to hop on a rollercoaster.
It’s been an interesting ride.
I’ll be honest with you, reader. I may have lost some pages on the way, my spine may be a bit battered, I—Okay, I don’t think I can continue with this book metaphor, but it was fun while it lasted. The thing is, this past year has been filled with change for me—change within my family, my career, my relationships, where I live, what I believe, and ultimately who I am as a person (though not as a Being; I don’t think that can ever change. Though that’s a different post altogether.)
But through every up and down and somewhere in between, the right people and the right circumstances have been here to guide me though—from friends and family members to psychics and healers. I’m not going to lie to you, reader; I’ve experienced some strange things.
And last week, perhaps one of the strangest.
I got in touch with Jen through a friend of mine who has sessions with her regularly. My friend knows that I am going through a bit of a transition period and also knows I write this column for you fine folks; so she thought it might be a good idea to set up a phone session with Jen.
That all sounded well and good, but there was one thing missing: Who was this Jen and what does she do?
My friend’s answer was vague at best, and I tell you, even after my phone session with Jen I am having trouble finding words to describe her or our session. So, I’ll just borrow the words from her website: Jen is a Reiki Master, Psychic, Medium, Empathic and she is considered a Sangoma, a traditional African Shaman who channels their ancestors, emoting sounds and vocalizations in their ceremonies.
If this sounds strange to you, reader, you’d be wrong. It wasn’t strange; it was so strange that I can’t even find the words to describe it. And yes, the session itself was a little odd and I wasn’t sure what to expect (but you can check out a video here if you’d like a glimpse), but the truly weird stuff happened in between the, eh, work and well after the call.
Let me start by saying, Jen has never met me. She had never even spoken to me before our phone call. And yet she knew so much about me. At times I found myself getting defensive—I don’t do that! I’m not like that! And of course, my defensiveness was just because she happened to be spot on. (If you’re reading—sorry about that.)
After the call I felt pretty exhausted and for several hours my brain not work so good. I felt emotional, I cried, and cried, and ever since that day, things have changed pretty drastically in my life—this week has been like a microcosm of my past year. My relationships have transformed, my family has changed, and I, once again, am in a different space than I was before. See, Jen works in healing—not on a surface level, like a therapist might; but on a much deeper level. Think of her like a Karma-oscopy.
I know I haven’t spent much time explaining exactly what happened in our session here—first of all, I think that would diminish some of its magic, so to speak; and second of all, I just don’t have the words. If you’re interested in learning more, though, send me a message below or simply visit her site:www.JenuineHealing.com. Like any good –oscopy, you will feel cleansed, lighter, and freer after the session—it might just take a few days to eh, rid yourself of the “bad stuff.”
Bet you miss those book metaphors now, don’t you?
Have you had any experience with a healer, psychic, or medium? What was your experience like?
