I had a client that would wake up before dawn and not be able to get back to sleep. They were fitful and anxious and thought it was merely a fear of not getting enough rest. But it was a past life memory of a particular day when they were going to be hanged at dawn.
Just knowing sometimes that the angst one is feeling runs way deeper than realized, helps to alleviate it. The client could forgive themselves now for being anxious at this time. It didn’t seem ridiculous any more.
