Sometimes people get depressed during certain parts of the year. They have no explanation for it. It feels like there is some ominous kind of trigger, like the changing of the seasons. But knowing it is looming, doesn’t help deal with it. It could be triggered by the holidays approaching or getting less light in the day; which is called Seasonal Affective Disorder.
May I suggest a deeper solution?
Some of us may be mourning a past life where we were having a pleasant day-to-day existence and were killed or pulled into slavery or imprisonment at a certain time of year. The change in the seasons could trigger an unconscious memory of a past state of mourning. It just feels like this is a time in the cycle of the year when being conquered, in general, happened more than at other times.
