Avoiding Suicide and Coming to Terms with Life

Many of us have been devastated by our life’s journey. Merely maintaining our own sense of boundaries may be a huge accomplishment. For someone who has been battered and beaten down by the purifying nature of living, just having a peaceful existence is the life lesson to absorb. An existence where no one is beating down the door, no one is being pulled out of their home and dragged off to prison, no one is being forced to kill and defend their life. This simplicity may be the respite that a weary soul needs to go on.

If someone is used to this kind of experience in their past lives, having a peaceful existence may be maddening to them. It may be like post-traumatic stress from other lifetimes. The psyche of a person may be trying to sort it all out.

I have assisted families where someone killed themselves. The guilt and shame of believing that it could have been prevented can be devastating. Usually, some close friend or family members may want to kill themselves afterward as well. They think this is of their own doing. What they don’t realize that instantly after someone severs their own lifeline, they immediately regret it. They are instantly pulled into a hellish experience of their own making that they cannot return from. Anything that they were experiencing moments ago when they were still breathing physical air is magnified to such a degree that it feels like child’s play by comparison.

Those who have pushed themselves over to the other side, immediately regret it and start pulling on those still in the physical realm. The persons still here will process that pulling as physical guilt and wanting to end their life too. That is the emotional anguish that they need to separate themselves from. The person, who crossed over, made a choice. They needed that experience to appreciate the value of their life. They will get there. There is no need to join them.

Here are some taps that I am prompted to share. May they refresh someone’s spirit in some way.
(Say each statement three times out loud while tapping on your head and say it a fourth
time while tapping on your chest.)

I transcend both life and death, in all moments.

Those who are being seduced to kill themselves must hear from those of us who can toggle between both aspects of existence, of what it really is about. Someone who wants to kill themselves is being manipulated by psychic energies or engaging in a form of self-hypnosis. The nightmare never ends for someone who takes their own promising life.

If you know someone who is struggling with this issue, please share this exercise with them. Many great souls struggle with this issue. It is because they can easily shift vantage points from the insignificance of this existence. But that is the Zen of life. Where someone feels life is so inconsequential is where they can do so much good. Instead of killing themselves because nothing really matters, why not flip that awareness? Why not live and speak your truth as if you have nothing to lose. It is much more rewarding this way. It takes more guts, too!
